First wrinkles.
The moment the frown line is still there in the morning. No reason to panic – but a good time to do the right things and leave the wrong ones.

The first line that no longer disappears: what is normal, what prevention really means (sun protection, retinoid), when Baby Botox makes sense
What is behind it.
What is normal: from the mid-20s collagen slowly declines; first dynamic lines (frown line, forehead, eye corners) briefly remain after strong expression. That is not ageing that must be treated – but the point at which behaviour makes the biggest difference.
Prevention that works: daily sun protection (by far the most important factor), a retinoid in the evening, not smoking, sleep. Unspectacular and inexpensive – and it postpones the time for treatments by years.
When Baby Botox makes sense: when a line stays visible at rest and bothers you – usually the frown line. A low dose prevents the line from engraving further; expression remains. Twice a year is usually enough. That is no obligation but an option.
What would be too early: fillers without volume loss, 'preventive' treatment of all zones, lips and cheeks because Instagram shows it that way. At 28 no volume is missing; anyone adding it anyway changes their face instead of preserving it. A reputable practice says so – and sometimes sends you home with just a sunscreen recommendation.
Is this for me?
A treatment can make sense if …
- a line (usually the frown line) stays visible at rest
- you already use sun protection and care
- you want preservation, not change
- you want an honest assessment, even if it is 'not yet'
Rather not suitable if …
- the lines disappear completely as soon as you relax
- you expect volume or contour change
- you are pregnant or breastfeeding
- you feel pressured by social media (then a conversation first)
These notes replace no examination. Whether and which treatment is an option is clarified in the consultation under § 630e BGB – sometimes the answer is: none.

Important note.
This text is general information. It replaces neither a medical examination nor the consultation required before any treatment under German law (§ 630e BGB). Whether and which treatment is suitable for you can only be said after examination and consultation. No treatment results are promised.
Frequently asked questions.
Does Botox at 28 make you dependent or make things worse?
No. There is no dependence; when stopping, expression returns without the line being worse than without treatment.
What is 'prejuvenation'?
The idea of preserving early instead of correcting late. Properly understood that means sun protection and care – and if needed a little botulinum toxin, not fillers.
