Baby Botox.
Colloquial term for very low-dose botulinum toxin that only softens facial movement rather than stopping it. Not a separate product.

Baby Botox explained: what is behind the term, who low doses suit, difference to 'prevention', shorter durability and why it is not a product.
A closer look.
'Baby Botox' is not a medicine but a dosing strategy: markedly less botulinum toxin is placed than usual, spread over more, finer points. The aim is expression that is softer but fully mobile – a result nobody recognises as 'Botox'.
This makes sense for younger people with strong facial movement, for professions that need full expressiveness, or as a first try for the hesitant. The price: the effect often lasts only two to three months instead of three to four, and deep lines are smoothed less.
'Baby Botox' is often equated with 'preventive Botox'; that means early, low-dose treatment before lines form at rest. Both remain a medical decision after examination – a smooth forehead needs no treatment.

Is Baby Botox cheaper?
Not necessarily – invoicing is per area and effort (GOÄ), not per unit.
Can I switch to a normal dose later?
Yes, any time. Dosing is not a one-way street.
