Your first treatment.
Many people arrive with a picture in their head and a fair amount of uncertainty. Here is what actually happens – from arriving to the review two weeks later.

What happens at a first aesthetic appointment: consultation, medical information, treatment, aftercare and the follow-up – step by step.
Understanding first treatment.
1. Consultation and examination. First we talk about what bothers you and what you have in mind. Then comes the examination: skin quality, facial movement, symmetry, previous treatments, illnesses and medication. Only after that can we say which method – if any – is suitable.
2. Medical information. Before every treatment you discuss the procedure, the expected effect, durability, possible side effects and alternatives. This conversation is required by German law (§ 630e BGB) and cannot be replaced by text on a website. You only sign once your questions are answered.
3. The treatment. Injection treatments usually take between 15 and 45 minutes. Numbing cream is used if needed. With fillers, the result is checked continuously during treatment.
4. Afterwards. Redness, mild swelling or small bruises for a few days are typical. Avoid sport, sauna, swimming pools and strong heat for 3–4 days. With botulinum toxin, also stay upright for a few hours and do not massage the treated area.
5. Review. The final result shows after about two weeks with botulinum toxin, and two to four weeks with fillers. We then assess whether anything should be adjusted. Questions in between are answered by phone or WhatsApp.
The essentials.

Frequently asked questions.
Do I have to decide straight away?
No. You can have a consultation and think it over. A consultation alone costs €50.
Can I go to work afterwards?
Usually yes. Still, don't schedule important events right after treatment – especially for lips and the eye area.
What if I don't like the result?
Talk to us. Hyaluronic acid can be dissolved with hyaluronidase; botulinum toxin wears off by itself. Adjustments can also be made at the review.
Will I be talked into anything?
No. If a treatment is not advisable, you will be advised against it – that is part of the medical role.
