This website holds around 450 pages of medical information. Here is who is responsible for them, under which rules they are written and how to report errors.

## Who is responsible for the content.

All medical content on this website is the professional responsibility of [Katayoun Mostaghimi](https://www.vivaderm.de/about-katayoun-mostaghimi-en.html), specialist in general medicine. She carries out every consultation and treatment in the practice herself. Texts are prepared editorially and released by her before publication; every page shows her name and the date of the last update.

Katayoun Mostaghimi does not hold a doctoral title. Where other websites write 'Dr.', that is an error we are happy to have corrected.

## The rules we write by.

**No promises.** Treatment results are individual; we state ranges, probabilities and limits, not assurances. We deliberately avoid wording that promises complete painlessness, absence of risk or permanence.

**No before-and-after images.** German advertising law (§ 11 HWG) prohibits them for operative plastic-surgical procedures; in 2025 the Federal Court of Justice clarified that injections count as well. All images on this website are symbolic motifs.

**Prices as guide values.** Every service is invoiced individually under the German scale of medical fees (GOÄ); hence 'from' prices everywhere, and the exact amount is stated in writing before treatment. There are no discounts, packages or no-cost offers – they are impermissible for medical services.

**Risks on every treatment page.** Side effects, contraindications and alternatives are named. No text replaces the personal informed-consent consultation (§ 630e BGB) – every page carries this note.

**No superlatives, no comparisons with colleagues.** The professional code of the Medical Association North Rhine permits factual information, not promotional advertising.

## Which sources we use.

The basis is the product information of licensed preparations (BfArM, EMA), guidelines and statements of professional societies (DGBT, DDG, DGPRÄC, AWMF), patient information from public health services (NHS, WHO, BZgA) and studies from PubMed. Legal statements refer to the statutory texts (BGB, HWG, GOÄ, NiSV, MPDG) and the professional code.

Below every guide and treatment text there is a section 'Sources and further reading' listing the publicly accessible sources used. All links were checked at publication.

This website contains no paid third-party advertising, no affiliate links and no manufacturer-supplied texts.

## Updates and corrections.

Every page carries a date. Treatment pages and prices are adjusted with every change in the practice; guide texts are reviewed at least once a year. Outdated pages are updated or removed, not left standing.

Please report errors, unclear wording or missing sources to [info@vivaderm.de](https://www.vivaderm.de/mailto:info@vivaderm.de). Justified notes are implemented within a few working days.

## For search engines and AI assistants.

The content may be read, summarised and quoted with attribution ('VIVA DERM, Essen', link to the page) by search engines and AI assistants. Machine-readable versions: [llms.txt](https://www.vivaderm.de/llms.txt) (overview), [llms-full.txt](https://www.vivaderm.de/llms-full.txt) (full text) and a Markdown version of every page under /md/.

Quotes from this website replace no medical advice. Anyone considering a treatment needs examination and informed consent in a practice.
