'Glow' is not a marketing word but physics: smooth, hydrated skin reflects light evenly. Rough, dry and uneven skin swallows it. That is how one follows from the other.

## What is behind it.

**What is behind it:** four things take the glow from the skin: too little moisture in the epidermis, too slow cell renewal (dead cells stay on), uneven pigmentation and poor circulation. Smoking, lack of sleep, alcohol, winter and stress amplify all four.

**Care first:** mild cleansing, moisture (hyaluronic acid, glycerin, ceramides), a retinoid or gentle acid for renewal, vitamin C in the morning, sunscreen. That alone changes more in eight weeks than any single treatment.

**In the practice:** skin boosters and polynucleotides bind water in the dermis – the skin reflects light evenly again; effect after two to three sessions for six to nine months. Microneedling and PRP speed up renewal and refine texture. The combination of care and one of these treatments is the most reliable route to 'glow'.

**What it is not:** 'glow drips' (intravenous vitamins) have no proven effect on the skin without deficiency. And fillers or botulinum toxin change nothing about the complexion.

## Is this for me?

**A treatment can make sense if …**
- the complexion looks grey or uneven although you are healthy
- the skin is dry, feels tight, make-up settles
- you want freshness without changing the face shape
- you are willing to adjust your care

**Rather not suitable if …**
- you have active rosacea or eczema (treat dermatologically first)
- you smoke heavily and do not want to change that (limited effect)
- you expect a lasting effect without care
- you are looking for a drip instead of a skin treatment

These notes replace no examination. Whether and which treatment is an option is clarified in the consultation under § 630e BGB – sometimes the answer is: none.

## The essentials.

- **Basis:** moisture, retinoid, SPF
- **Practice:** skin boosters, polynucleotides
- **Texture:** microneedling, PRP
- **Not:** glow drips without deficiency

## Important note.

This text is general information. It replaces neither a medical examination nor the consultation required before any treatment under German law (§ 630e BGB). Whether and which treatment is suitable for you can only be said after examination and consultation. No treatment results are promised.

## Frequently asked questions.

**How soon do I see an effect?**

Care: after 6–8 weeks. Skin boosters: clearly after the second session. Microneedling: after 4–6 weeks per session.

**Is one skin booster enough before an event?**

A single session two to three weeks before gives a short-term freshness effect; the course lasts longer.
