VIVA DERM is a private practice for aesthetic medicine in Essen-Rüttenscheid. From Dortmund it is about 45 minutes away by car or train – closer than many people think. Every treatment is carried out by the physician herself, after examination and consultation.

## Why an appointment in Essen is worth it.

Aesthetic medicine is a matter of trust – and a 45-minute journey is no obstacle for most people from Dortmund if the consultation is right. VIVA DERM deliberately does not treat on a conveyor belt: appointments leave time for examination, conversation and the treatment itself.

Treatments include **botulinum toxin** (frown lines, forehead, crow's feet, masseter, hyperhidrosis), **hyaluronic acid** (lips, tear trough, nasolabial folds, jawline, cheeks), **skin boosters and polynucleotides**, **PRP** for hair and skin, **injection lipolysis** and **infusion therapy**. Every treatment requires a medical examination and consultation.

VIVA DERM is a **private practice**: treatments for privately insured and self-paying patients, invoiced individually according to the GOÄ. Consultations are available in German, English and Farsi.

## How an appointment works.

**Booking:** online via Doctolib around the clock, by phone or WhatsApp. For a first appointment we usually plan 30 to 45 minutes.

**Consultation and examination:** what bothers you, what is the goal, what makes medical sense? Sometimes the answer is: no treatment. Information about effect, duration, risks and alternatives is always part of it.

**Treatment:** usually possible in the same appointment if nothing speaks against it after the consultation. Afterwards you are generally presentable straight away; a check-up after two weeks is usual. This information does not replace the medical consultation required by German law (§ 630e BGB).
